Measuring Laptop Screen –
Grab a measuring tape and measure from the bottom left hand screen corner to the top right hand screen corner. You should be going in a diagonal line. This will give you your laptop’s screen size i.e. 13″, 14″, 15″ Wide, 17″.
How To Use These Dimensions -
Take your laptop screen measurements (i.e. 14″, 15″ Wide, 17″) and compare your screen size with the third line of your chosen bag’s laptop dimensions on our product pages [see below for an example] – this will tell you what laptop screen size the laptop bag is designed to fit.
For Laptop Bag –
Close your laptop fully and measure the WIDTH.
This is the longest side of your laptop and you need to measure across from the left to the right.
With your laptop still closed, measure your laptop from the bottom to the top anywhere along the sides of your laptop to find out the HEIGHT.
Finally, measure from the front to the back of your laptop to find out the DEPTH (… the back is where your laptop connectors will commonly be).
How To Use These Dimensions -
First, double check your laptop measurements (WxHxD) against the first line of your chosen bag’s laptop dimensions on our product pages [see below for an example] which will tell you the actual laptop compartment dimensions.
The second line (bag dimensions (WxHxD) [see below for an example], will tell you the actual size of the laptop bag. This is usually a little bit bigger than your laptop.
